Having a Hard Time With all That Google Keyword Research?

Google keyword research is more crucial than ever before, as Google adwords is now the world's #1 ad network.Google's content network covers over eighty percent of the globe.

But with such a potential customer reach, the competition is intense and growing by the minute. Google is making a killing.More than $4b in 2007 from adwords. I dont know how much of that money came from profitable ads, but my guess is more advertisers lost money than made money on the ads.

Here are the 6 main issues with PPC advertising

Testing & Tweaking

Finding the right keywords: it is all about those keywords. You need to have the same words people are searching for to get clicks. Or even worse you could get hits from people looking for other things other than what you offer.

This is a classic catch 22 situation.

You want the clicks, but you dont want every click. 1 click form the right person is worth more than 1000 clicks from the wrong person. You really need to be careful that the keywords you use are the ones suited to searchers looking for your solutions.

But for you to find these keywords it will take alot of effort and time. Even worse it might not work out. There are decent keyword research tools out there but there is a big learning curve with most of them. That's changed with the release of PPC Bully 2. You will find more in the next article. Finding the Winning Combination: So you spend an insane amount of time that you cant really afford doing intense keyword research for your PPC ad campaign and now you are ready to try them out online. Wait! Not so fast, you are only past the first stage. Having the right keywords is one thing, having them in the right order is way harder. It is like you took a math test and the correct answer was 756.

You could spend a lot of time but if you missed the answer by 1, you would be 100% wrong. You won't get any points for being almost right. It's quite similar to paid per click. Searchers want more than just specific words. They are searching for specific words in a specific order & specific combination.

You need to be savy in order to attract the right customers. So now you must do more research with the keywords you have found and find out which keyword combination are the most successful ones.

I wont scare you off by telling you even more factors. That you need to find out what products your competition are promoting in combination with the landing pages and keywords & keyword combination that are making them a profit in order to make serious money. There is a great solution however.
